I finally finished The Count of Monte Cristo today, and I am definitely adding it to my list of favorite books. It took me awhile to read as it is supposed to be 400 pages long, but I feel it could have been longer and still not disappointed me. This is one of those types of books that allows your imagination to transport you to the time and place being described without giving you too much detail. I would definitely recommend this as a book to be read by everyone, however, it does lend itself to older audiences as it was written in a time where the vocabulary was much more colorful and different from modern vocabulary.
Next, I start on The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn.
